Continuing on my theme of pet portraits, here is one I did of Macey the Labrador. She was gorgeous to draw and also a bit challenging with her light coloured fur. But I think I nailed it ! I'm happy with this portrait and so is her owner - yay!
I've always dreamed of attending Art School but life so far has conspired against me. However, I still pursue the dream. Despite never receiving a formal art education, I've attended many adult evening art courses and even took my then 11 year old daughter along with me. These classes provided us with skills, motivation and many, many friends and were a wonderful stepping stone to the point we find ourselves today.
I also love film making and have filmed, directed and produced over 150 small films including a number of travel documentaries. I've filmed all over the world including Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Estonia, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Again I have no formal education in film media, but plenty of enthusiasm, motivation and thousands of hours spent working on productions.
Thanks to Tony for the wonderful support he has given me over the last seventeen years. Without his positive nature, his wonderful technical know-how and truly amazing belief in me, I would never have got this far. I thank him from the bottom of my heart.
